Yuen Wo Road Sports Centre

Introduction

Yuen Wo Road Sports Centre, which was commissioned in 25 April 1988, is situated in Sha Tin town center. In its vicinity are Sha Tin Jockey Public Swimming Pool and Sha Tin Park. Well-equipped with a wide range of leisure facilities for hiring by individuals and organizations. Moreover, various sports and recreation programmes are held in the Sports Centre each month for public participation.

Facilities

  • 1 multi-purpose arena which can be used as 2 basketball courts / 2 volleyball courts /1 netball court / 8 badminton courts
  • 1 table tennis room
  • 2 squash courts which can be converted into an activity room (Ancillary facilities: Sound equipment and gymnastic mats.) and a table tennis room respectively
  • 1 multi-purpose activity room of 109 m2 for activities such as table tennis or dance(Ancillary facilities: Wall mirrors, sound equipment and gymnastic mats.)
  • 1 multi-purpose activity room of 86 m2 for activities such as dance(Ancillary facilities: Wall mirrors, dance bars, sound equipment and gymnastic mats.)
  • 1 fitness room of 93 m2
  • Men's and ladies' toilets cum changing rooms
  • Barrier Free Facilities: Accessible Toilet, Accessible Lift (with Assistive Listening System), Tactile Guide Path, Visual Fire Alarm System

7am to 11pm daily (except maintenance days)


Maintenance Day

7am to 1pm on the 1st & 3rd Monday of each month
(If a maintenance day falls on a public holiday, it will be rescheduled to the next working day.)
