Lung Sum Avenue Sports Centre

Introduction

(The follow facilities at Lung Sum Avenue Sports Centre will be temporarily closed for the repair of wooden floor:

Facilities Closed Period
Badminton Courts No. 1 and 3 from 20 to 25 October 2025
Badminton Courts No. 5 and 7 from 3 to 8 November 2025

Lung Sum Avenue Sports Centre is located at 155 Jockey Club Road, Sheung Shui, New Territories. It opened on 17 February 1991 and nearby Sheung Shui Public Swimming Pool and North District Sports Ground. The sports centre aims at providing diversify sports and recreation facilities for booking of individual hirers and organizations during the venue opening hours. Besides, the centre also organizes various recreation and sports activities for members of the public.

Facilities

  • 1 multi-purpose main arena. The arena can be converted into badminton courts / volleyball courts / basketball courts
  • 1 fitness room of 91 M2
  • 1 Multi-purpose Activities Room / Dance Room covering an area of 102 M2 is provided.(Ancillary facilities: wall mirrors, dance bars, sound equipment and gymnastic mats)
  • 3 Squash Courts with area 62 M2. (The squash courts can be converted into table tennis rooms. One of them can be converted into multi-purpose activities room) (Ancillary facilities: sound equipment and gymnastic mats.)
  • First-aid room
  • Men's and ladies' changing rooms and toilets
  • Barrier Free Facilities: Accessible Toilet, Accessible Lift (with Assistive Listening System), Tactile Guide Path, Visual Fire Alarm System


Opening Hours

7am to 11pm daily (except maintenance days)


Maintenance Day

7am to 1pm on the 1st & 3rd Monday of each month
(If a maintenance day falls on a public holiday, it will be rescheduled to the next working day.)

Bus Route 70K… Wah Ming to Ching Ho (Circular Route, Run at approx. 15-20 mins interval)
Bus Route 79K… Sheung Shui to Ta Kwn Ling(Tsung Yuen Ha) (Run at approx. 20 - 30 mins interval)
Bus Route 261… FANLING (Cheung Wah) to Sam Shing (Run at approx. 15 - 25 mins interval)
Bus Route 270 … Tin Ping to Tsui Lai Garden (Circular Route, Run at approx. 10 mins interval)
Bus Route 277E … Tin Ping to Lam Tin Railway Station (Run at approx. 20 mins interval)
