The foyer staircase plays a pivotal role in unifying the building’s architectural narrative, and bridging visitors’ physical movement with their emotional and intellectual engagement in the performances. The staircase utilises steel for the primary structural framework, with glass panels forming the balustrades to maintain visual openness and allow natural light to permeate, thereby enhancing spatial fluidity. Meanwhile, concrete-textured tiles are used for the floor and wall finishes to introduce richness and a welcoming ambience. As an architectural expression of transparency and contextual harmony, this open-frame structure fosters a sense of connectivity between interior and exterior spaces.
