Introduction

Located at the town centre of Tai Po, the Tai Po Civic Centre (TPCC) has been providing diverse cultural services for the community of Tai Po since its official opening in September 1985.  In order to enhance the TPCC’s cultural facilities and services, it has undergone facility upgrading works since 2021.  The upgraded TPCC will equip with major facilities including a 644-seat auditorium, a black box theatre with a maximum capacity of 130 and a foyer exhibition area, the TPCC also provides two function rooms, which individuals and organisations may book for holding different types of cultural and leisure activities.  The TPCC will create synergy with the adjacent Tai Po Arts Centre, collectively forming a new cultural landmark for Tai Po.
