From 19 May onwards, the number of audience members allowed in major facilities of the Sha Tin Town Hall including the Auditorium, Cultural Activities Hall and Exhibition Gallery will be increased to 85% of the original capacity. Consecutive seats will be limited to eight. The capacity of minor facilities such as Dance Studio, Music Studio, Conference Room, Lecture Rooms and Practice Rooms will also be raised to 85% of the original. Eating and drinking are not permitted inside the hiring facilities. All venue users/audiences are required to put on their own masks, comply with the requirement of the Vaccine Pass and scan the "LeaveHomeSafe" QR code before entering the venue. All hiring activities open to the public at outdoor facilities will remain suspended.

The ticket refund service will be from 17 May (Tuesday) to 11 July (Monday) (both dates inclusive) for events presented/sponsored by the LCSD and some organised by hirers which have been cancelled due to venue closure arising from the pandemic. To facilitate the facility upgrading works of Sha Tin Town Hall, the Exhibition Gallery will be closed from 14 February to 23 June 2022. Booking applications of Exhibition Gallery for 1 March to 23 June 2022 will not be accepted. Ordinary Booking applications resume normal from Apr 2022 onwards.
The Exhibition Gallery will reopen in late-June 2022 with a brand new look. For enquiries, please contact us at 2694 2577 / 2694 2503 during office hours (Monday to Friday: 9am - 1pm & 2pm - 5:45pm).
