Barrier Free Facilities

Barrier free facilities provided at Sha Tin Town Hall are:

Public Area

  • Assistive listening system at the Enquiries Counter and Box Office
  • Barrier-free ramp and automatic door at the foyer for wheelchair users
  • Tactile guide path and braille and tactile floor plan at foyer, podium and plaza area
  • Tactile-braille indicators and voice-announcement device in the passenger lift
  • Accessible toilet at G/F, foyer at podium level, 2/F, and the dressing room at the Auditorium backstage
  • Enquiries Counter and ticket dispensing machine for wheelchair users
  • Lifting platform for wheelchair users to access to the Exhibition Gallery
  • Designated parking space for wheelchair user in the fee-charging car park
