*The host will demonstrate how to propagate roses by means of cuttings. Participants may prepare the following tools and flower materials and follow suit during the show.

  • a bunch of roses*
  • a short wide mouth vase
  • a pair of secateurs or scissors
  • a pair of gloves
  • a ruler
  • tap water
a bunch of roses
* A bunch of roses with leaves of about 1.5 to 2 feet (i.e. 45 to 60 cm) tall should be used. Withering cut roses may suffice.
