* The host will demonstrate how to prepare a kokedama display. Participants may prepare the following tools and materials in advance and follow suit during the programme.

  • a plastic box for desserts;
  • a pair of pointed tweezers;
  • a hemispheric floral foam with a diameter of about 4.5 cm (other sizes are fine as well);
  • a small amount of Leucobryum glaucum (also known as leucobryum moss or pincushion moss) with a surface area of about 6 cm x 6 cm
  • a wide-mouthed container with a width of about 6 inches;
  • a pair of small scissors;
  • a cutter; and
  • tap water


Gentle Reminder:
Please put inside the container the prepared moss, which should be sprayed with water on alternate days to keep it slightly moist for use on the event day.
