Horticulture Courses Schedule

 

The Zoological and Horticultural Education Unit runs different types of horticulture courses annually to encourage the public interest in greening and raise their plant knowledge and planting skill. Participants with attendant rate over 75% will obtain the Attendance Certificates.

Type of Courses：
Elementary Horticulture Course：	Basic horticulture knowledge learning (Open to everyone at 16 or above)
# Intermediate Horticulture Course：	Plant maintenance and propagation skill learning (For Elementary Horticulture Course Attendance Certificate holders only)
@ Advanced Horticulture Course：	Theme plants’ learning (For Intermediate Horticulture Course Attendance Certificate holders only)

Enrolment：	For details on enrolment and means of payment, please refer to the Notes of Enrolment in the booklet “Community Recreation & Sports Programme”. To enrol in the activities to be held in the following month, applicants must submit ballot e-application forms through My SmartPLAY App, the SmartPLAY webpage or smart self-service stations within the specified period in a month.

Remarks:	-	Courses are conducted in Cantonese
	#	Candidate applies for Intermediate Horticulture Courses must hold an Elementary Horticulture Course Certificate issued by LCSD.
	@	Candidate applies for Advanced Horticulture Courses must hold an Intermediate Horticulture Course Certificate issued by LCSD.
