The Way Forward after the Reconstruction of Turf Pitch

We are very thankful to the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust for its full funding and technical support for the professional and efficient delivery of the Hong Kong Stadium Turf Pitch Reconstruction Project, which has brought significant benefits to the community.

The reconstruction project involved redesigning and replacing the drainage and irrigation systems, and replacing the entire soil structure and the turf. The Stadium Management will strive to maintain the quality of the turf pitch and provide an excellent and well-equipped venue for major sporting events through rigorous event scheduling and developing usage guidelines, improving turf management and maintenance arrangements, providing enhanced training for the staff and strengthening the contingency measures.
