How to Hire the Stadium

Events

Points to note for holding events in the Stadium:

• The Stadium will be closed for 10 to 12 weeks every year (between June and August in summer; December in winter) for turf repairs and maintenance;
• The Stadium is available mainly for holding large-scale ball games and cultural activities. All music events are required to comply with the Noise Control Guidelines for Music, Singing and Instrument Performing Activities.

• To ensure the quality of turf pitch is up to the standard for holding large-scale sports events, non-sporting activities are only allowed outside the match area.
• No eating or drinking is allowed in the turf pitch area of the Stadium.

** The Stadium Office will arrange for the signing of a Hiring Agreement with the successful applicant after the detailed arrangements of the event are confirmed.

Sports Training Scheme

The Stadium is mainly used for holding major events. Organisations may book the venue for football training/competition on a 2-hour session basis under the Sports Training Scheme. Information on available dates for next month will be announced on the 8th day of each month on the Hong Kong Stadium website. If the venue is available, applicants shall send the completed application form to the Stadium Office between 8th and 12th. Sessions will be allocated through balloting.
