Cantonese Opera Education and Information Centre is now Open!X
In view of the latest situation of COVID-19, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department will reopen its performance venues on 1 June (Monday). Major facilities including the Theatre and New Wing Auditorium will only be open for hirers’ rehearsal use and performances/activities without live audience before 15 June. Speech Day events will also be cancelled. Minor facilities such as Committee Room, Rehearsal Rooms, New Wing Rehearsal Rooms, New Wing Singing Practice Rooms and New Wing Function Room will limit the number of users to no more than half of the original capacity. To avoid people from gathering, no ceremony will be allowed in the New Wing Exhibition Gallery. The exhibition facilities will limit the visitor flow by arranging quotas. Children under 12 will only be allowed to enter the New Wing Exhibition Gallery when accompanied by an adult. For details, please see here.
Box office and ticket dispensing machines will resume operation with special opening hours from 12 noon to 6:30pm daily from 6 May.
The ticket refund service will be available from 6 May to 30 June with services hours from 12 noon to 6:30pm daily for events presented/sponsored by the LCSD and some organised by hirers which have been cancelled due to venue closure arising from the pandemic.
