Introduction

The 2026 Hong Kong Flower Show, organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), was held at Victoria Park from 20 to 29 March 2026.  This year’s Show, featuring Stock as its theme flower under the theme “A Fragrant Journey through Hong Kong”, attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors and saw enthusiastic participation from 236 organisations and groups across 10 countries.

In alignment with the theme, the exhibition featured a number of large-scale landscape displays incorporating distinctive Hong Kong elements.  Through colourful flowers and skilful designs, the unique character and cityscape of different districts were vividly brought to life.  For the first time, a miniature exhibition was staged at the Floral Marquee, showcasing local life and culture through finely crafted miniature models.  Additionally, a flower-themed intangible cultural heritage exhibition was held on the Central Lawn, where paper crafting techniques blossomed amid a sea of flowers.

During the Show, apart from ingeniously designed landscape displays, beautiful floral arrangements and exquisite potted plants, a variety of educational and recreational activities were also offered.  These included student drawing competition, photo competition, plant exhibit competition, music and cultural performances, floral art demonstrations, greening workshops, guided tours, recreational programmes and family-friendly games, all of which added depth and variety to the Show.   Commercial stalls selling gardening products, fast food and drinks were also available, providing a one-stop leisure experience for refreshments and shopping.

In addition, the LCSD remains committed to the “Green Flower Show” mission by continuously improving eco-friendly and waste reduction measures at every stage of the event.  By working hand in hand with participating organisations, contractors, volunteers, and the general public, the LCSD strives to build a greener urban environment for all.
