Set against a sea of tulips, the elegant 3D Stocks create a romantic spring tableau that is perfect for photos and close-up appreciation. | |

Alongside this lies dynamic modern features: the Ngong Ping cable car opens up panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes; the wind turbine on Lamma Island injects new momentum into environmental protection; the international airport brings tourists from around the world; and the Chinese white dolphins frolic in the sea. At its centre rises a luminous “Wishing Tree”, surrounded by traditional village-style Poon Choi displays and mahjong tables, evoking the convivial spirit of a rural festive gathering. Nearby, the “Che Kung Temple” zone features an array of windmill forms, drum-shaped ornaments, and fortune stick motifs, conveying wishes for prosperity and good fortune. Opposite stands the “Tsui Sing Lau Pagoda”, a feng shui pagoda distinguished by its zigzag-shaped brick eaves and gracefully upturned cornices. A winding path then leads visitors to the “Railway Museum” area, where vintage lamp posts and rail track decorations stir a sense of nostalgia. As night falls, this plot is gently bathed in a warm amber glow, embodying the essence of both urban and rural charm. |

At the entrance, the “Dragon Boat Race” zone takes Shing Mun River in Sha Tin as its backdrop. Dragon boat installations of varying sizes are arranged across ground plantings designed to evoke rippling water, conveying a strong sense of vitality, movement, and festive energy. The central “Wetland Park” zone features an ecological pond and wooden boardwalk, planted with aquatic species and native trees to recreate a wetland environment that attracts birds and other wildlife. At the far end, the “Geopark” zone showcases a landscape formed by volcanic rock features, illustrating the striking hexagonal rock columns that characterise Hong Kong’s unique geological heritage. They can also visit the spherical photogenic spot formed by the CEDD’s initials, symbolising our vision of building joyful communities together. |

The Correctional Services Department (CSD) has chosen “Upcycling for a New Life” as the theme of this year’s landscape display. A significant amount of yard waste has been upcycled to form various components of the garden landscape. Through showcasing flowers cultivated and landscapes made by persons in custody who have received industrial and vocational training, the CSD aims to convey the messages of “safeguarding our country and home, leading a law-abiding and drug-free life as well as supporting offender rehabilitation” to the public, thereby promoting community education and calling for public support for rehabilitation work. The parterre in the centre of the plot is designed with departmental elements and surrounded by a profusion of flowers, displaying a vibrant and diverse array that highlights the unique blend of the city and its floral landscape. The plot is also adorned with some uniquely designed upcycled decorations, including eco-friendly vases and small panda statues co-created by the CSD and students from schools under Yan Chai Hospital, to promote the message of “fully utilising the best talent and resources”, and encourage the public to make concerted efforts in building a harmonious and inclusive Hong Kong. |

Entering the “Timeless Treehouse” where a nostalgic atmosphere sets the stage for games and displays, learning about the common plants in Hong Kong and the life cycle of the urban forests. Passing through the giant leaf installations — “Photosynthesis Passage”, visitors arrive at the explorer's picturesque farmhouse — “Aroma Farm”, joining the outdoor tea party and appreciating how nature enriches our lives through the food it provides. Finally, the mound of wildflowers demonstrates how the interwoven root systems of plants stabilise slopes and purify water. |

Choi Hung Estate, Nam Shan Estate and Shun On Estate are juxtaposed under the skyline of Lion Rock, which witnesses how these and other public housing estates carry on the Lion Rock Spirit and the Housing Department’s mission across decades. |

This design symbolises a flourishing ecological dialogue between Beijing and Hong Kong, celebrating Beijing Zoo’s dream of conservation nurtured for over 120 years. |
