From 19 May onwards, the number of audience members allowed in the Theatre of the Yau Ma Tei Theatre will be increased to 85% of the original capacity. Consecutive seats will be limited to eight. The capacity of minor facilities such as function rooms will also be raised to 85% of the original. Eating and drinking are not permitted inside the hiring facilities. All venue users/audiences are required to put on their own masks, comply with the requirement of the Vaccine Pass and scan the "LeaveHomeSafe" QR code before entering the venue.

The Yau Ma Tei Theatre accepts “Late Booking” applications only for our Theatre from October 2021 to August 2022 during the demolition of the Shanghai Street refuse collection point and street sleepers’ services units of the Reprovisioning of Shanghai Street refuse collection point and street sleepers’ services units to the site on Hau Cheung Street for the Construction of Yau Ma Tei Theatre Phase 2. Our Function Room (1) is closed during the period.
The Theatre of Yau Ma Tei Theatre is operating at special hiring sessions during the period (Monday to Saturday: 7pm – 11pm, Sunday and Public Holiday: 9am – 1pm, 2pm – 6pm & 7pm – 11pm). For booking enquiries, please contact us at 2374 2598 during office hours (Monday to Friday: 9am – 1pm & 2pm – 5:45pm).
Box Office will be operating at special opening hours during the period (Monday to Saturday: 6pm - 8pm, Sunday and Public Holiday: 1pm - 8pm). For charged events held in the evening, the box office service will be extended to 9:30pm. Ticket buyers can also purchase tickets via internet (website: www.urbtix.hk), Mobile Ticketing App My URBTIX or Credit Card Telephone Booking (Tel: 2111 5999, 10am - 8pm daily).
