Introduction | Scoring Method

School Sports Programme Award Scheme (Pilot Scheme) – 
LCSD Cup

1. Objective:To motivate schools to participate in the School Sports Programme (SSP) and to recognise those demonstrating strong engagement and excellent performance in SSP competitions.
2. Awards:A total of 16 awards will be presented. Trophies will be awarded at the 2026 School Sports Programme Prize Presentation Ceremony cum Carnival to honour schools with the most outstanding performance between 1 January 2026 and 10 June 2026. The awards include:
  • LCSD Cup –Primary School Boys’ Division: Champion, 1st Runner-up, 2nd Runner-up and 3rd Runner-up
  • LCSD Cup –Primary School Girls’ Division: Champion, 1st Runner-up, 2nd Runner-up and 3rd Runner-up
  • LCSD Cup –Secondary School Boys’ Division: Champion, 1st Runner-up, 2nd Runner-up and 3rd Runner-up
  • LCSD Cup –Secondary School Girls’ Division: Champion, 1st Runner-up, 2nd Runner-up and 3rd Runner-up
3. Scoring Period:To facilitate publicity and enrolment, the SSP Award Scheme will be based on the results of specific competitions taking place between 1 January 2026 and 10 June 2026, i.e. the competitions specified in Item 4 below.
4. Scoring Events:The scoring events of the current school year include the following competitions taking place between 1 January 2026 and 10 June 2026:
Primary School Boys’ Division and Primary School Girls’ Division
  • Easy Sport Competition - 3 on 3 Basketball
  • Easy Sport Competition - Mini-Squash
  • Easy Sport Competition - Badminton
  • Easy Sport Competition - Handball
  • Easy Sport Competition - TOUCH Rugby
  • Easy Sport Competition - Mini-Tennis
  • Easy Sport Competition - Mini-Volleyball
  • Easy Sport Competition - Fencing (Foil)
  • Easy Sport Competition - Orienteering
  • Outreach Coaching Programme - Shuttlecock Competition
  • Outreach Coaching Programme - Squash Team Competition
Secondary School Boys’ Division and Secondary School Girls’ Division
  • Easy Sport Competition - Orienteering
  • Outreach Coaching Programme - Basketball Competition for Secondary School
  • Outreach Coaching Programme - 3 on 3 Basketball Competition for Secondary School
  • Outreach Coaching Programme - Shuttlecock Competition
  • Outreach Coaching Programme - Squash Team Competition
(Remarks:In the event that a competition is rescheduled outside the scoring period (1 January 2026 to 10 June 2026), its results will not be counted towards the LCSD Cup rankings.))
