The Tai Po Civic Centre (TPCC) has been comprehensively upgraded. Please come on 10 January 2026 (Saturday) for string ensemble performance, street dance show, creative workshops, backstage tour, and guided walk highlighting new architectural features. Let us explore the new arts and cultural landmark of Tai Po, express our love and care for its community through performing arts, and create a brighter future for Tai Po.

Architectural Features Sharing Session & Guided Tour

This guided tour will guide you through an appreciation of the architectural details and features of the TPCC, and show you the beauty of the architecture and the creativity behind it. Through sharing and guided appreciation, you will gain a deeper insight into the design philosophy and architectural significance of the TPCC.

The body and face painting booth will make the Open Day more colourful by giving participants a unique body and face painting on the theme of performing arts.

Cyr wheel and Veil Poi Demonstration

The graceful Cyr wheel and veil poi performance will lead you to the outdoor space of the TPCC and demonstrate a perfect fusion of space and dance.

Programme Arrangements

Best for ages 3 and above for all programmes.

Arrangements for all performances and fringe activities:

  1. Free admission by ticket with free seating. Limited places available on a first-come-first-served basis.
  2. Tickets will be distributed at the Information Counter of Tai Po Civic Centre from 12 noon on the day of the activity.
  3. Each person is allowed up to two tickets for each activity.
  4. Quota for each session of fringe activities: 50 persons for backstage tour, 30 persons for percussion workshop, 50 persons for dance workshop and 50 persons for architectural features sharing session and guided tour.
  5. Reserved places will be allocated to others if the ticket holders fail to show up within 10 minutes after the activities have started.
  6. In the event of any dispute regarding ticket distribution and seating arrangements, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department’s decision shall be final and conclusive.

The presenter reserves the right to change the programmes or substitute artists. The content of programmes does not represent the views of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.
