Precious Moments to Share

With the launch of the New Town Development Programme by the Government in the early 1970s, Sha Tin grew from a rural township of about 30 000 people to a major community of over 700 000. Inaugurated in 1987, Sha Tin Town Hall provides quality cultural facilities to its users and witnesses the growth and remarkable development of the community.

Massive changes have been taking place at Sha Tin Town Hall. Renovations were carried out for both the exterior and interior, and facilities upgrading and improvement works were conducted to further enhance the environment and services provided to the community.
