The Masters Games, organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department biennially, aims to provide people aged 35 or above with opportunities to participate in sporting competitions with others of similar age, and let them enjoy the fun of sport and sustain their interest in sport.
A total of 6 sports events comprising badminton, distance run, swimming, table tennis, tai chi and tennis competitions will be held between June and December 2023 in this year’s Masters Games.
Due to inclement weather, the badminton competition of Masters Games held at Kowloon Park Sports Centre on 2 September 2023 was cancelled. The competitions on 2 September and some matches on 9 September will be rescheduled on 9 September at Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park Sports Centre and 17 September at Lai Chi Kok Park Sports Centre respectively.
