The Masters Games, organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) biennially, is targeted at people aged 35 or above. The Games offers participants the opportunity to compete against people of similar age so as to allow them to enjoy the fun of sports and sustain their interest in sports activities. Participants will be arranged to act as referees/umpires in the preliminary round of some competitions so as to contribute to the event.
This year, a total of 6 sports events comprising Badminton, Distance Run, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tai Chi and Tennis Competition will be held between July and December 2018.
Masters Games 2018 - Distance Run Competition
Payment period for successful applicants was concluded on 10 September 2018, the Organiser will accept open enrolment from 19 September 2018 (starting from 8:30 a.m.) to 20 September 2018 at all District Leisure Services Offices and recreation and sports venues with Leisure Link services on a first-come-first-served basis. Members of the public can check the remaining quota on the webpage of LCSD Community Recreation and Sports Programmes.
