Introduction

The Hiking Scheme is one of the thematic activities under the Healthy Exercise for all Campaign jointly organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and the Department of Health.

The thematic website of the Hiking Scheme features 44 hiking routes with distinct characteristics in Hong Kong. Apart from details about the routes such as transportation guide, cross-section chart, distance, duration and level of difficulty, the website also highlights the attractions along the routes and safety tips on hiking. By assisting members of the public in making informed choices and plans based on their preferences, physical abilities and experiences, these comprehensive guides help them prepare for and make the most of their hiking trips.

Four types of hiking routes are featured on this website, namely Nature Routes, Scenery Routes, Heritage Routes and Family Routes. Information about the routes and their respective videos are available below.
