To facilitate the general public with different needs to participate in cultural and arts activities, Yau Ma Tei Theatre provides the following barrier free facilities and services for people with disabilities:
Public Area:
  • Automatic door and ramps for wheelchair users at main entrance of Yau Ma Tei Theatre
  • Tactile guide path and Braille
  • Audio and visual signals of the emergency alarm system
  • Accessible toilet
Theatre:
  • Designated 4 spaces convenient for wheelchair users
  • Audio and visual signals of the emergency alarm system
  • Induction loop system for hearing-impaired
Box Office:
  • Box office counter with height suitable for wheelchair users
  • Induction loop system at the box office counter for hearing-impaired
