Covering an area of 22.97 hectares, Lei Yue Mun Park in Chai Wan District on Hong Kong Island overlooks Lei Yue Mun Channel. Surrounded by trees and shrubs, the Holiday Camp offers fine views and fresh air. The buildings inside the Holiday Camp were modelled on the European-style buildings of the early 20th century and the hostels can accommodate up to 282 campers. (Hirers please note: Camp facilities, such as hostels, recreational facilities, canteen, etc., are located on different spots of a slope and connected by pavements.)

Take MTR train to Shau Kei Wan MTR Station where you may take a taxi or walk for about 30 minutes to the Holiday Camp; or take a public bus, green minibus or public light bus to Chai Wan and get off at Chai Wan Road, then walk for about 10 minutes to the Holiday Camp. Bus routes serving Chai Wan Road include 8, 8H, 8X, 9, 14, 49X, 81, 81A, 82, 82S, 780, and 780P. Cross-harbour tunnel bus routes include A12, 106, 106P, 118, 382, 606, 606X, 613A, 682, 682A, 682B, 682P, 694, 694S, 907D, and 976A; and green minibus routes include 20, 65, 65A, 66, and 66A. There are no car parks or parking spaces available at the Lei Yue Mun Park.

Notice
Lei Yue Mun Park will be temporarily closed from June 1 to October 5, 2026 to facilitate the transfer of community isolation facilities. The site will be reverted to its original use for the reconstruction of a hard-surface playground as well as a natural turf pitch. Other improvement works will be carried out. During that period, applications for booking campsites and renting of wedding venue facilities will be suspended. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

To improve service, with effect from 13 May 2026, the pick up and drop off point for Lei Yue Mun Park free shuttle bus will be relocated from Mong Lung Street to the designated parking space for the Post Office and LCSD at the junction of Tung Hei Road and Mong Lung Street (near MTR Station Exits A1 and B1).
