Arrangement during Typhoons and Rainstorms (applicable to LCSD camps only)

 

Day Camp

If typhoon signal No. 3 or above remains hoisted or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is still in force at 7:00am on the camping day, campers should not come and the fees paid will be refunded. If the signal or warning is lowered or cancelled before 7:00am, the Holiday Camp will open as usual. Campers who do not come to check in will be regarded as waiving their rights and the fees paid will not be refunded.

Residential and Evening Camps

If typhoon signal No. 3 or above remains hoisted or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is still in force at 12:00noon on the camping day, campers should not come and the fees paid will be refunded. If the signal or warning is lowered or cancelled before 12:00noon, the Holiday Camp will open as usual. Campers who do not come to check in will be regarded as waiving their rights and the fees paid will not be refunded.

For campers who have checked in

If typhoon signal No. 3 or above is hoisted after campers have checked in, the campers must leave the camp and the camp fees for the day will be refunded according to the General Conditions of Use of the Camp. If normal operation of the Holiday Camp is affected by inclement weather, the staff will decide whether the campers should leave the Camp after taking into account the conditions at that time.
