Climbing Play Tower

  • The rope climbing nets inside the towers are very challenging. You should play according to one's capacity and health condition before attempting different difficulty levels .
  • Mind your safety when climbing the nets. Grip the ropes, step securely on the net, and climb up slowly using both hands and feet.
  • The passages connecting the play towers are quite narrow, so remember to be courteous to each other
  • Please do not climb outside the designated areas, e.g. do not climb at the exterior of play tower.

Slide

  • The slides vary in types and difficulty – attempt them progressively.
  • Slide down in a sitting position, with the upper body slightly leaning back. Do not slide down head-first, climb up from the bottom, or climb over or stay in the middle of the slide to avoid obstructing other users sliding down.
  • After sliding down, move away from the exit as soon as possible to avoid colliding with the next users.
  • The roller slide is suitable for all children. Platforms are provided at both ends of the entrance for the convenience of wheelchair users.
  • The group slide is wide enough for two children or one adult and one child to slide down at the same time. However, the adult should not hold the child in his or her arms while sliding down.

Sandpit

  • Keep the sandpit clean and take off your shoes before entering. Do not take sand out of the pit, pour water into it, or hide objects in it.
  • Avoid eating or drinking at the sand pit. Do not put sand in your mouth or rub the eyes with your hand. Avoid scattering sand with large movements or throwing sand at others.
  • Do not play near the exit of the slide to avoid getting hit by someone sliding down.
  • Adults should encourage children to tidy up their own toys and equipment after playing.
  • For safety’s sake, younger children should be accompanied by adults when playing in the sandpit.

Roundabout/ Carousel

  • When sitting or standing on the roundabout, hold onto the railings tightly with both hands to maintain balance. Do not lie down on the platform.
  • Do not spin too fast to avoid dizziness.
  • While spinning, do not extend your head, arms, or feet outside the platform. Do not push others during the ride.
  • If you feel unwell, stop spinning immediately and rest by the side.
  • Wheelchair users must lock their wheelchairs when riding on the roundabout. The wheelchair shall only be unlocked after the ride has completely stopped.
  • The floor would become wet and slippery on rainy days. Avoid using the roundabout.

Swing

  • When there are crowds, remember to behave in an orderly manner and wait in the queue for your turn.
  • Wait until the swing has stopped completely before getting on and off, and hold the ropes or chains on both sides tightly with both hands when riding.
  • Do not go near a moving swing.
  • When getting on and off the swing, be mindful of the surrounding users to avoid hitting them.
  • Do not swing too high to prevent accidents.
  • Do not kneel, spin or jump on the swing seat to avoid losing balance and falling off.
  • Please wear the seat belt if one is provided on the swing seat. Do not unfasten the seat belt until the swing has stopped completely.
  • When riding on the Hexagonal Swing, all players should face inwards.

Rope Climbing Net

  • Before starting, children may first assess their own abilities and attempt different heights progressively.
  • While climbing, maintain a safe distance from other users, and do not push each other.
  • Mind your safety when making the climb. Grip the ropes, step securely on the net, maintain your balance, and climb up slowly using both hands and feet.

Trampoline

  • Toddlers or children using the trampoline for the first time should be accompanied by adults when playing on the trampoline.
  • Use the trampoline properly. On the trampoline, jump up and down instead of jumping from side to side to avoid losing balance and fall over.
  • When there are crowds, remember to behave in an orderly manner and wait in the queue for your turn. Do not push others. Avoid using the trampoline on rainy days.
  • Avoid entering the trampoline with others from different directions at the same time to prevent collision.
  • Electric wheelchairs and strollers are not allowed in the trampoline area to avoid accidents.
  • Children in wheelchairs can use the trampoline with the assistance of adults. For safety’s sake, wheelchairs must be locked when playing on the trampoline. Enter and exit the trampoline with the rear wheels.

Water Play Facility

  • Children may get splashed by water sprays from the play facilities. Adults can prepare towels and suitable clothes such as swimwear and water shoes for children, and help them get changed in the changing rooms.
  • Do not climb on the sensory wall.
  • Do not drink water from the play facilities.
  • The floor of the Splash Paradise is wet and slippery. Please walk carefully.
  • Before leaving, adults should encourage children to tidy up and take their own toys and equipment with them.

Other Play Equipment

  • Cherish the play equipment. Do not sit or stand on them, deliberately deface or damage them, or leave any rubbish or junk inside them.
  • Tap or strike the instruments with designated tools instead of other hard objects.
  • Adults should teach children to care for the flowers and plants and be gentle when touching them. Do not pick or soil the plants.
  • Be careful when getting on and off the Log Bridge or other balancing facilities. Hold the railings tightly.
