The Leisure and Cultural Services Department will relax the limit on the number of audiences/users in all performance venues starting from 3 July (Friday), with seating capacity to be increased from 50 to 80 per cent of the original. Bookings for speech day events can resume. Children under 12 will only be allowed to enter exhibition facilities when accompanied by an adult. Hiring activities open to the public at outdoor facilities will remain suspended. Audiences will need to wear their own masks in the venues. People with fever, respiratory symptoms or sudden loss of taste or smell should avoid going to the venues. Box offices at LCSD’s performance venues will continue operating at special opening hours (from 12nn to 6:30pm daily or 30 minutes after commencement of URBTIX performance at the venue). The opening hours of ticket dispensing machines will be 9am-11pm.
The ticket refund service will be available from 7 July (Tuesday) to 31 August (Monday) (both dates inclusive) for some hirer events originally scheduled for 1 May – 18 June and cancelled due to venue closure arising from the pandemic.
