Situated in Sai Kung, which is well-known as the "Back Garden of Hong Kong", the Sai Kung Outdoor Recreation Centre is surrounded by picturesque scenery. It is an ideal holiday resort where you can relax and enjoy the tranquility of the countryside. The Camp is equipped with various kinds of recreational and sports facilities and a well-furnished 3-storey dormitory block with 31 units (each with 8 beds), which can accommodate up to 248 campers.
Visitors may take the bus no. 92 at the Public Transport Interchange outside the exit C2 of Diamond Hill MTR Station; take the green minibus no. 1A outside the exit C2 of Choi Hung MTR Station; take the green minibus no. 101M at the Public Transport Interchange outside the exit B1 of Hang Hau MTR Station; or take the bus no. 792M at the Public Transport Interchange outside the exit A1 of Tseung Kwan O MTR Station. They may then alight at Po Lo Che (near Sai Kung Fire Station) in Sai Kung, and arrive at the Centre after a 5-minute walk. Alternatively, visitors may also take the bus no. 299X at the Sha Tin Central Bus Terminus; or take the bus no. 99 at the Heng On Bus Terminus. They may then alight at Yi Chun Street, Sai Kung Town Centre, and change to the green minibus no. 4 or 4A. They need to alight at the upper or lower gate of the Centre after passing Sai Kung Fire Station.

|Questionnaire of LCSD Holiday Camps
The Sai Kung Outdoor Recreation Centre (the Centre) will be re-opened for public use from 25 November 2022 (Friday). The capacity for day, evening and residential camps(Note 1) will be adjusted, only bookings by individuals will be accepted and block booking continues to suspend. The following arrangements will be adopted for camp booking:

|Arrangements for booking of camp places (i.e. applicants shall submit their ballot forms three months prior to the proposed camping period) are expected to be resumed after March 2023.|
|Note 1||Camp places of residential camp are booked in terms of room. For the Centre, only eight-bed rooms are available. Each applicant may book eight or its multiples of camp places. The Centre provides public shower rooms and toilets.|
|Note 2||Applicants who wish to book camp places available within the next ten days shall call the office of the Centre for enquiries. The deadline for all bookings is one day before the check-in date. The Department will consider on-the-spot enrolment according to the actual circumstances of the Centre.|
|Note 3||Booking of the camp places left unfilled after ballot: camp places still available after ballot will be open to applicants after the starting date of booking through (1) the Leisure Link e-Services System; (2) any District Leisure Services Offices; or (3) offices of recreation and sports venues / Leisure Link Self-service Kiosks with Leisure Link services. Applicants can complete the booking procedures and pay the camp fee on a first-come-first-served basis.|

Before the re-opening of the Centre, all camp facilities will be cleaned and disinfected thoroughly to ensure safety and hygiene. Cleaning and disinfection will also be conducted every day during the opening hours, so that campers can use the camp facilities and services with ease of mind. However, the mini-soccer pitch and children’s cycling area in the Centre will be temporarily closed until further notice.
Campers should observe the ‘Additional Information on Notes to Campers’ and take necessary precautions to minimise both the risks of contraction and transmission of COVID-19.
