On-site Application

Advance Booking Arrangements (applicable to specified dates(Note 1))

To facilitate the booking of camp bays by local residents and ensure the effective management of campsite facilities, LCSD has implemented the advance booking arrangements for camp bays at Pui O Campsite for Hong Kong residents during the Lunar New Year holidays, Labour Day and National Day.

Hong Kong residents may submit their application forms according to the advance booking arrangements. The 54 camp bays in the campsite will be allocated by ballot. Each applicant may only book one camp bay for a period of not more than 4 consecutive nights. Before using the camp bays, applicants must produce their original Hong Kong Identity Card to register their use at the services counter of Pui O Campsite. If there are remaining camp bays available for use, residents and tourists can make on-site applications at the camp office on a first-come-first-served basis.

Booking Procedure

To make a booking, Hong Kong residents must register themselves as SmartPLAY users and, upon identity authentication, submit their balloting applications from 9 to 16 January 2026 via the SmartPLAY website at www.smartplay.lcsd.gov.hk/home, the mobile app (My SmartPLAY) or smart self-service stations. Registration as SmartPLAY users is free of charge. For details on how to register, please click the link at www.smartplay.lcsd.gov.hk/website/en/user-registration/how-to-register.html.
