Welcome Home Ceremony of the HKSAR Delegation

The 14th National Games was completed successfully on 27 September 2021. The HKSAR Delegation achieved a total of 7 medals (2 gold and 5 bronze medals) from competitive sports events, namely cycling, fencing and karatedo. Besides, Hong Kong athletes also performed excellently in Mass Participation Events by winning 1 silver medal from table-tennis.

The Organising Committee (OC) of the HKSAR Delegation organised the Welcome Home Ceremony on 28 October 2021 at Che Kung Temple Sports Centre. The Ceremony was officiated by the Deputy Head of the HKSAR Delegation and the Director of Leisure and Cultural Services, Mr Vincent Liu and attended by the following guests including the President of the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China, and the Chairman of the OC of the Delegation, Mr Timothy Fok; the Permanent Secretary for Home Affairs and Honorary Adviser of the Delegation, Mr Joe Wong; the Commissioner for Sports and member of the OC of the Delegation, Mr Yeung Tak-keung; and the Deputy Head of Sports Section of the Department of Publicity, Cultural and Sports Affairs of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the HKSAR, Mr Zhu Jianping. Commendation certificates were presented to athletes who achieved outstanding results in the 14th National Games.
