Temporary Closure of Yau Ma Tei Theatre

(From September 2022 onwards)

 

The Yau Ma Tei Theatre is closed from September 2022 onwards in connection with the Construction of Yau Ma Tei Theatre Phase 2. The Theatre and the Phase 2 are expected to provide you with better services by the end of 2026.

"Your Memories with the Timeless Theatre” Interactive Exhibition

 Guided Tour 

 

A guided tour is offered to lead you through exterior area of the Yau Ma Tei Theatre (Grade 2 historic building) and Red Brick Building (Grade 1 historic building) for a better understanding of their history, architectural features and the interesting findings behind the revitalisation project by the participants of the Yau Ma Tei Theatre Docent Scheme.

The guided tour is approximately 45 minutes, and it will be conducted in Cantonese.
Suitable for aged 12 or above. Children under the age of 12 are required to be accompanied by an adult.
For registration, please call 2264 8561 during office hours or complete the application form and send to ymtt@lcsd.gov.hk at least 3 working days before the tour date (Office Hour: 9am - 1pm and 2pm - 5:45pm).
