The Sheung Wan Civic Centre will re-open on 14 September (Monday). Major facilities including the Theatre and Lecture Hall will open for hirers' rehearsal use and performances or activities without live audience. Having regard to the development of the epidemic situation, the major facilities are expected to be opened for performances or activities with live audience from 1 October onwards with special seating arrangements. The number of audience members will be limited to half of the original capacity. Minor facilities such as Rehearsal Hall, Dance Practice Room, Art Studios and Music Practice Rooms will be limited to half of the original capacity. No ceremony will be allowed in the exhibition facilities. Visitor flows in exhibition facilities will be limited by arranging quotas. Children under 12 will only be allowed to enter exhibition facilities when accompanied by an adult.

The URBTIX outlet and ticket dispensing machines at the Sheung Wan Civic Centre will resume operation from 14 September onwards with special opening hours (from noon to 6.30pm daily).
Ticket holders of cancelled events are advised to contact the respective event organisers or check their latest announcement on refund arrangements. Ticket refund service is available for events presented / sponsored by the LCSD which have been cancelled due to venue closure arising from the pandemic and some organisers that choose to arrange refunds at URBTIX outlets. To facilitate the refurbishment and improvement works of the 5/F facilities of the Sheung Wan Civic Centre from 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022, the booking arrangements for major and minor hiring facilities during the said period will be revised as follows:

will not be accepted from September 2020 onwards.
(Note: Ordinary booking applications for the month of April 2022
will be accepted in September 2021.)

Sunday and Public Holidays: 9am - 10pm
