Kwai Chung Park has transformed from the former Gin Drinkers Bay Landfill into a community oasis built with environmental sustainability at its heart. Guided by the principle of “architecture in harmony with nature”, the park integrates eco-friendly elements with a minimalist architectural style. The result is a space where distinct functional areas collectively create a unified spatial experience.

An inclined lift provides direct access to an observation deck, the adjacent performance plaza and swing benches. A multi-purpose lawn follows the natural topography, offering ample space for leisure and relaxation with its terraced lawn, lawn areas, and verdant mounds. On the lawn, a pavilion inspired by shipping containers showcases the history of Kwai Tsing District and Gin Drinkers Bay.
