Re-opening of Venue

Major facilities of the Kwai Tsing Theatre including the Auditorium and Black Box Theatre have been reopened for performances or activities with live audiences and with special seating arrangements.  The number of audience members will be limited to half of the original capacity.  Consecutive seats will be limited to four.  Minor facilities such as Rehearsal Room, Dance Studio and Lecture Room are limited to half of the original capacity.  Audience are required to put on their own masks upon entry and throughout the performance.  All hiring activities open to the public at outdoor facility remains suspended.

Service of URBTIX Outlet Resumes

The opening hours of the URBTIX outlet at the Kwai Tsing Theatre are as follows:

Monday - Sunday (10:00am to 6:30pm or 30 minutes after commencement of URBTIX performance at the venue)

Ticket dispensing machines will be operated during the opening hours of the venue.

 

Ticket Refund Arrangement

Ticket holders of cancelled events are advised to contact the respective event organisers or check their latest announcements on refund arrangements.  Ticket refund service is available for events presented/sponsored by the LCSD which have been cancelled due to venue closure arising from the pandemic and some organisers that choose to arrange refunds at URBTIX outlets.  Details can be found on URBTIX webpage: https://ticket.urbtix.hk/internet/en_US/newsDetail/169979.

Arrangements for Booking Applications during the Renovation Period from March to June 2021

To facilitate the refurbishment and improvement works of the facilities of the Kwai Tsing Theatre from 22 March to 13 June 2021, the booking arrangements for major and minor hiring facilities during the said period will be revised as follows:

Major Facilities (Auditorium and Black Box Theatre)	Minor Facilities (Lecture Room, Dance Studio and Rehearsal Room)
Bookings of 22 March to 13 June 2021 will not be accepted from August 2020 onwards. (Note: Ordinary booking applications from 14 to 30 June 2021 will be accepted in November 2020)	Bookings of 22 March to 13 June 2021 will not be accepted from July 2020 onwards. (Note: Booking applications from 1 January to 21 March 2021 and 14 to 30 June 2021 are accepted now)
