"Traces of the Past and Future: The 30th Anniversary Exhibition of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre"

In two sections, the exhibition looks back and ahead. Travelling in a train of time, visitors are invited to encounter the many meeting lines along the Centre’s 30-year pathway, exploring and understanding how performing arts in Hong Kong came into its present shape. Valuable artefacts, electronic commemorative books re-enacted autographs of 90 renowned figures both local and worldwide as well as various interviews are displayed in the area. Looking back at how the Cultural Centre worked together with other LCSD performing arts venues in Hong Kong, envisioning also the coming opening of the East Kowloon Cultural Centre, a cultural landscape beyond is projected in the exhibition.

Audience will go on a tour to explore different areas with music, dance, projections and other special “performances”. Such encounter offers a chance for a closer look at the magic of the liveliness in what makes a show, a show.
