School Guided Visits to Hong Kong Park Aviary
| (A) | Purposes | : | To provide opportunities for pupils to know more about the characteristics and habitat of birds through field observation and explanation by tour guides, so that they may recognize the importance of animal conservation. | ||
| (B) | Highlights | : | Pupils will be guided to visit the Caged Display Area and the Walk-through Aviary. Birds living in tropical rain forests and the ways they adapt to the environment for feeding and accommodation will be introduced. Some endangered bird species and their nesting and brood-rearing habits will also be introduced. | ||

Applications for the above activities will be accepted from 1 September 2023 onwards. Primary schools interested in these activities can apply by completing the Application Form at Annex 3 and submit the forms by fax or by post. Due to limited places, applications will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis. (We will accept applications by fax commencing at 9:00 am on 1 September 2023. Applications by fax or by post received before 1 September 2023 will not be entertained.) |
