Fantasie in Yau Tsim Mong

Opening Performance
To stage an opening musical Fantasie in Tsim Mong to promote musicals and share the fun therein. Project details will also be introduced to the residents to encourage their participation. 

Musical Creation Experiential Class
The experiential class will be led by local professional musical playwright, composer and lyricist.

Community Experiential Theatre
Based on the community element derived from the Musical Creation Experiential Class, an outdoor experiential theatre is designed for the public to go into the neighbourhood in Yau Tsim Mong. Participants will be provided with the background information and characters of the story. Under the guidance of the docent, they will experience the historical changes and cultural uniqueness of the community following the storyline at specific streets and scenic spots.
(Due to the pandemic situation and distancing measures are still in force, the outdoor programme will be changed to indoors)

Musical Rehearsal
To recruit a team of the performers and production crew in the district, the professional creative team will develop an original musical by integrating the stories from the participants. Participants of different ages will learn to take up various roles and prepare for the musical community performances.

Musical Community Performances
Community Performances will be toured in in Yau Tsim Mong at community halls, schools and outdoor venues to share the achievements of the participants with the public. Post-performance sharing sessions will be arranged as well.

Musical Day Camp
The main elements of musical - singing, dancing and acting, will be the main themes of the day camps. Instructors will select world-famous musical classics to teach participants of different ages and ethnicities the performing skills and provide them the opportunity to access classic pieces and know more about musicals.

Finale Performance
A finale performance to summarize the musical training programme and allow the participants to showcase their achievements.
