‘The Story about District in the North’ Theatre Project

Joint Opening Performance
To stage an opening performance in North District and introduce the scheme to locals. The performance will be jointly held with Hong Kong Harmonica Association.

Workshops and Showcases
To recruit teenagers and adults in the district for physical acting, music and dance improvisation training. After participating a series of workshops, they will share their learning in the Showcase Performances. The Traditional Craftsmanship Workshop will also introduce food production process and, with the guide of tutor, to transform the observation to physical performance.

Touring Performances
By reinterpreting the old Hakka daily life, the physical theatre performance links the present and the past for a closer glimpse of the unique culture of North District. 

Exhibition
An exhibition to share the site research finding as well as stories of local farmers in form of illustration and display of agricultural tools.

Finale Performance
Guided by the performers of Théâtre de la Feuille, participants will take the lead in the Finale Performance inspired by the culture and history of North District.
