Good Times of Kwai Tsing Theatre Project

Phase 1: Opening Performance 
An opening performance to demonstrate the fascination of the literary landscape theater by concatenating various past works of the arts group will be arranged.

Phase 2: Lectures cum Demonstrations, Workshops (1) 
Through illustration and demonstration by the instructor and professional performers, participants can understand the relationship of performance, individual and the community. Basic acting techniques will be taught in storytelling and performing skills workshop and participants can perform with professional performers on the same stage at the end.

Phase 3: Showcases and Online Programme
After the completion of the storytelling and performing skills workshop in Phase 2, participants will perform in the showcases so that they can feel the joy and accumulate the experience to perform in front of the public. The showcases together with the making-of, rehearsal highlights, behind-the-scenes as well as the sharing of participants and director will be edited and uploaded to 18dArt - Community Arts Scheme Facebook and webpage of arts group. Audiences can enjoy online afterwards.

Phase 4: Lectures cum Demonstrations, Workshops (2)
Through lectures and demonstrations of Movie Tent Production and Video Production, participants can understand the relationship of the specific art presentation, individual and the community. Techniques in making tent theater and video will be taught in the workshops and participants can demonstrate their thoughts and feelings of Kwai Tsing District through the end products. Participants of storytelling and performing skills workshop will rehearse with the instructor and professional performers and produce the finale performance to show the good people and good things of Kwai Tsing District together.

Phase 5: Carnival cum Finale Performance 
A small carnival will be held at outdoor venue in Kwai Tsing District. Participants will dress up as carnival ambassadors to invite interested public to watch the videos inside the tent theatres. The finale performance performed by workshop participants and professional performers will also be arranged. Public can understand their community from a humanistic perspective and enjoy a pleasant afternoon altogether.
