The Masters Games, organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) that held biennially, is targeted at people aged 35 or above. The Games emphasises participation and enjoyment rather than winning prizes. It also offers participants the opportunity to compete against people of similar ages to sustain their interest in sports activities. In order to encourage participants to actively involve in the games and to promote sports activities, we will arrange them to act as umpires in the preliminary round of some competition events.

This year, a total of 6 sports events comprising Badminton, Distance Run, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tai Chi and Tennis Competition will be held between June 2012 and January 2013.
