Subvention to Hong Kong Arts Festival

LCSD provides an annual subvention to enhance the programme of the Hong Kong Arts Festival. Held in February and March each year, the festival is one of Asia’s premier international arts festivals. In 2015, the 43rd Hong Kong Arts Festival included 137 ticketed performances which attracted over 117 000 people, of whom 11 000 attended under the Young Friends of the Festival Scheme.
