To promote the rich and colourful intangible cultural heritage (ICH) of Hong Kong, the ICH Office has set up an exhibition with the theme "Traces of Human Touch" in the former CLP Group Headquarters. ICH practitioners were invited to participate in the exhibition. Ten items of local ICH are featured in three different sections in the gallery: "Apparel and Footwear", "Ornaments and Decorations" and "Words and Sounds".

Since people are the agents of ICH, the exhibition explores how interactions between master and apprentice result in vitality and creativity, bringing innovation to ICH items and providing direction for future development, while transitioning from old to new. The exhibition also offers visitors a variety of multimedia programmes, enabling them to learn about the ICH of Hong Kong in an enjoyable way.

The exhibition is also one of the activities in the Chinese Culture Promotion Series. The LCSD has long been promoting Chinese history and culture through organising an array of programmes and activities to enable the public to learn more about the broad and profound Chinese culture.
