Workshop on Dim Sum Miniatures

Experience the steps of making typical dim sum through making miniature work.

Demonstration of the Lantern Band Embroidery Technique

Along with a demonstration, it explains the common uses of Hakka patterned bands, such as lantern bands, and the auspicious meanings they convey.

Talk on Traditional Architecture Preservation Technique

Introduce architectural features of traditional villages in Hong Kong and how they are preserved.

Using black sesame rolls (nicknamed "roll film") and sticky rice dumpling (caa gwo) in the New Territories to introduce and demonstrate traditional Chinese pastry making techniques.

Demonstrate how to make cheongsams fit different body types and some steps in making a cheongsam.
