Tying in with the screening programme Movie Talk with Peter Yung, and Remembrance of the Avant-garde: Archival Camera Collection Exhibition, Hong Kong Film Archive opens an exhibition to present artifacts of cinematographer James Wong Howe and his apprentice director Peter Yung. Yung met Howe when studying in the US in late 1960s and hence becoming a lifelong friend and student of this famed Hollywood cinematographer. The exhibition showcases numerous valuable artifacts and old photos by the master and his protégé who both had made a name for themselves.
