Chung Ying Theatre Company

Founded as an auxiliary of the British Council in 1979, Chung Ying Theatre Company is one of the leading local professional theatre companies nowadays and strives to connect people with drama by stage performances, drama education and outreach programmes. The company dedicates itself to produce quality stage productions with an aim to promote theatrical arts, facilitate cultural exchanges and enrich the city’s cultural life. Its productions are full of local characteristics while with an international perspective. Chung Ying Theatre Company is the first theatre company to introduce "Theatre-in-Education". It also organises a wide variety of outreach programmes and professional trainings for tertiary institutions, junior and high schools and local organisations throughout the territory.

W Theatre
Artistic Director: Wong Chi Lung

Founded in 1999 by Wong Chi Lung and Michael Tsang, W Theatre is a registered non-commercial theatre drama organisation, and one of the leading drama groups that targets mainly on youngsters in Hong Kong. Recent well-received productions include the screwball comedy Little Hong Kong Series, Open Relationship and Try Difference Makes Differences.

Wind Mill Grass Theatre
Artistic Director: Shaw Mei Kwan

Established in 2003, Wind Mill Grass Theatre was founded by Shaw Mei-kwan, Joey Leung and Edmond Tong and identified Hong Kong as a creative base. The theatre aims at producing diversified stage performances in different forms, which can bring out the local characteristics and are closely related to the spirit of the locals. In addition, the theatre aims at exploring new visions for the audience, and let them feel the energy inside theatres, which resembles the invincible vitality of the “Grass”.
