Artist Silas Fong has conducted at Oi! an art project ‘Killing Time' on slowing down the hectic pace of urban life. As a continuation, he invited the public to join him for a walking experiment that offered a chance to unload daily burdens and to walk in quietness and serenity.
During the walk, there was no phone call or message to answer to, no destination or topic of conversation to think of. Participants just walked with the artist with their instinct. Perhaps they would find on the street of North Point a kind of precious sweetness in the midst of rapid urban development, encounter an unexplored corner in a seemingly familiar place, reconcile with their inner-peace, or simply finish a 45-minute journey.
Snapshots captured by the artist in the journey have been compiled into a book with the title of Timesheets.
