Of course it’s never too late for romance, especially when it’s destined. Li (Cheung Ying) is an office clerk who wants to return a lost item to its owner Pak (Pak Yin) whom he instantly falls for but doesn’t know where to find her. Through the help of his best friend Yu (Tang Kei-chen), he is able to meet Pak who, in fact, is a sales lady in a department store, in a high-class restaurant. Worrying about how to best impress the other on their first meeting, they both begin a game of lies which keeps snowballing until they find it difficult to deal with their conscience and the consequences of deception. How does they replace lies with honesty and use true love to battle vanity? Beginning with a sales docket of a diamond ring, Cheng Kang pulls out his best comic tricks to give the characters a ribtickling but human treatment.
