Appearing in the 1970s films of Michael Hui was the turning point of Ricky Hui's movie career. He may not play major roles in those films, but was able to hone his acting skills against the comic genius of his older brother and the handsome presence of his younger brother, establishing himself as a legitimate comedian. Security Unlimited is the last of the films in which all three Hui brothers appear together and, like the rest, is full of visual gags and explosive laughter that offer poignant social comments. Ricky Hui has a meaty role, including a romance with an illegal immigrant.
