The man (Chow Chung) is an heir to an inheritance with strings detached; the woman (Patsy Kar Ling) is a lowly employee who faces her oppressive boss and life's adversities with a smile. Their paths cross one day when she takes pity of the presumably unemployed man and finds him a job at the department store where she works and which he owns. Seizing the chance to know more about his own company, he decides to be the undercover boss... A romantic comedy with the right touch of Cantonese cinema social realism.
