House Rules

 

House Rules for “Sports Demonstrations by Mainland Olympians – Badminton, Fencing, Gymnastics and Table Tennis” and “Mainland Olympians Variety Show”
  1. The House Rules set out herein shall apply to the “Sports Demonstrations by Mainland Olympians – Badminton, Fencing,Gymnastics and Table Tennis” and “Mainland Olympians Variety Show” held at Queen Elizabeth Stadium (“the venue”) on 4 December 2021.

  2. Spectators shall observe the Civic Centres Regulation (Cap. 132F), the Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirements and Directions) (Business and Premises) Regulation (Cap. 599F), the Section 7 of National Anthem Ordinance, the House Rules and any other applicable laws, rules, regulations and conditions.

  3. All persons shall produce valid admission tickets or other valid passes on entry.

  4. No ticket collection service will be available at the venue on the event day. Spectators shall collect their tickets at the URBTIX outlets or from the Cityline’s ticket dispensing machines elsewhere before the event. For details on the locations of the outlets and machines, please visit www.urbtix.hk.

  5. Real–name ticketing arrangements will be implemented for ticket sales. The ticket holder shall produce proof of identity with photo which is consistent with the name on the ticket for identification purpose on entry, or admission shall be denied and no refund shall be made. The ticket holder shall neither make unauthorised amendments to the information as printed on the ticket nor transfer the ticket in confidence for another’s use.

  6. Spectators must be seated in accordance with the seating numbers as specified in tickets. In addition, spectators shall not enter areas to which access by spectators are restricted except with the permission of the venue management.

  7. All persons entering the venue shall undergo security check. For the sake of public safety and order, spectators are prohibited from bringing the following items into the venue, except with the permission of the venue management and subject to such conditions as the venue management may impose:

    • any glassware or fragile objects which may pose potential dangers;

    • any alcoholic drinks or drinks in cans or glass bottles;

    • animals (except guide dogs or Police dogs);

    • any items which may be offensive or health hazardous or which can be used as weapons or used to impede the smooth progress of the event, e.g. knifes, fireworks, laser pointers, compressed gas or liquid spray or large items;

    • any banners, posters, placards, leaflets or publicity and display materials, the contents of which are commercial, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, religious or political;

    • mechanically or non–mechanically operated sound tools, e.g. loudspeakers, drums, gongs and the like; and

    • any remote–controlled flying devices or toys.
  8. Spectators shall not perform any acts in the venue which may obstruct the view of other spectators and/or cause unnecessary obstruction and/or interference e.g. standing on spectators’ seats or using selfie sticks to the extent that affects other person.

  9. Spectators shall not perform any acts in the venue which may affect the smooth progress of the event, or acts that may harass, disturb or annoy any other person such as shouting, demonstrations, employing foul language, or throwing objects and the like.

  10. Spectators shall not display any materials with political content, including but not limited to clothes, banners, posters, placards, leaflets, publicity items or display materials.

  11. Some seats may have obstructed view.

  12. In view of the latest situation of COVID–19 and based on the Directions in Relation to Scheduled Premises under the Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirements and Directions) (Business and Premises) Regulation (Cap. 599F), the following precautionary measures are adopted to reduce health risks of venue users:

    • All shall scan the "LeaveHomeSafe" QR codes with mobile phones before entry to the venue. Persons who are aged below 12 or aged 65 or above, as well as those with disabilities that render use of the “LeaveHomeSafe” mobile app difficult will be exempted from using the app. However, they are required to complete a specified record form and present relevant identification documents for verification at the request of the staff on–site during registration. The staff will verify the contact numbers by making phone calls

    • Body temperature screening will be conducted for all people entering the venue.

    • Any persons with fever, respiratory symptoms or sudden loss of taste/smell should refrain from using the venue facilities and seek early medical advice.

    • All should observe hand hygiene by washing hands with liquid soap and water properly.  Their hands may also be cleaned with 70–80% alcohol–based handrub when they are not visibly soiled.

    • All are required to wear their own masks.

    • All shall maintain social distancing as appropriate in the venue and common areas.

    • Sharing of items is to be discouraged.

    • No eating or drinking in hiring units.
  13. Any person who contravenes any of the Civic Centres Regulation (Cap. 132F), the Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirements and Directions) (Business and Premises) Regulation (Cap. 599F), the Section 7 of National Anthem Ordinance and House Rules may be denied entry to the venue and/or removed from the venue.

  1. The House Rules set out herein shall apply to the “Sports Demonstrations by Mainland Olympians – Diving and Swimming” held at Victoria Park Swimming Pool (“the venue”) on 4 December 2021.

  2. Spectators shall observe the Public Swimming Pools Regulation (Cap. 132BR), the Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirements and Directions) (Business and Premises) Regulation (Cap. 599F), the Section 7 of National Anthem Ordinance, the House Rules and any other applicable laws, rules, regulations and conditions.
