"2006 Inter -school Easy Sport Competition"

The Grand Final of the "2006 Inter-school Easy Sport Competition" was held on 6 May 2006 (Saturday) at Shek Kip Mei Park Grass Pitch and Sports Centre. A number of Legislative Council Members officiated at the ceremony and extended their support to the participants. Everyone at the scene was in high spirits. The numbers of the participating schools and the participants this year increased to about 300 and 5000 respectively. The events included 3-a-side basketball, netball, handball, cricket, mini-volleyball, tape rugby, badminton, shuttlecock, fencing, tennis, table-tennis, squash and dragon dance.

"Wushu Performance 2006"

The Inter-school Wushu Performance 2006" was successfully held on 28 May 2006 (Sunday) at Wai Tsuen Sports Centre, Tsuen Wan. Over 300 students from 24 primary and secondary schools took part in the performance. Mr TO Yu-hang, the silver medal winner of Wushu Changquan All Round at the 2002 Asian Games, was invited to perform Changquan and give a demonstration of basic techniques with the team members of the Hong Kong Junior Wushu Squad. Mr. TO also shared his competition experience with the students and encouraged them to practise Wushu, bringing a fruitful Sunday to all the students.
